It has a larger capacity than just about every model out there, is well-build, has excellent airflow, takes a minimum of starter material, and is easy to pour securely once the coals are lit. After being disappointed with several $20-30 charcoal chimney starters, I purchased this chimney starter on the advice of Cook's Country Magazine since it has won their highest award for chimney starters the last two times they've tested them. And, I have to say that while it is one of the cheapest chimney starters, I have to agree that it is also one of the best. And I was able to buy two of them for the price of one high dollar model.Save your money, and buy this chimney starter. You absolutely will not be disappointed.
Every review above is correct. This is beyond the best investment I've made to make my life easier. Amazon doesn't permit discussions of price, I see on their guidelines, however.
The Weber 7416 Rapidfire Chimney Starter is a solid built starter. It's not cheap and flimsey as the other starters I have sceen for around $14.00 elsewhere. I would recommend this stater to any person reading this and consider buying one
I can't say enough about the chimney starter to express how utterly amazed I was when I used it for the first time and found that the "no charcoal lighter" taste was very noticeable. If you haven't tried one, you should do yourself a favor and try it now. It works just like it is advertised to work. Taste how food grilled out should taste.
